She is Sonny's daughter, and there can be a genetic tendency for the condition. Morgan had it, and it makes sense Kristina might as well. It would explain why they write her extreme reactions to most things.

A storyline where she is diagnosed and has to learn to handle her condition is much more interesting than simply being an a**hole.
