She is too emotionally involved with the "defendant." If Alexis was representing Trina or Joss do you think she would take an alleged murder weapon and toss it in the river?
I mean she was pacing back and forth. She was frantic. Fun fact, a recently fired weapon would smell of gun powder for approx 1.5 days. Kristina is innocent so no crime was really committed in what Alexis did--but SHE doesn't know that lol. As intelligent and as sharp of a lawyer that she is--that was beyond stupid. I mean, she didn't even talk to Kristina first.
