Sonny shooting Jagger was the stupidest move he could make. No attempt at stealth or attempt to set up an alibi first and on the Quartermaine grounds for heaven's sake..
But I suspect that it may turn out that while Sonny pointed his gun at Jagger ready to shoot him, Kristina came up behind her father and shot Jagger instead.
It was inevitable that Jagger was going to be killed, and I was bummed at the stupid way Sonny went about it ...
but now I think the story is going to be about Sonny taking the rap to protect Kristina.
A very valid soap direction to go, but whether Sonny shot Jagger or he ends up taking the fall to protect Kristina, the set up was sloppy ... and that is one thig Sonny isn't.
