"Ava has been arrested for assault. She claims your tripped and what happened was a horrible accident. Is that true?"
I think losing the baby + internal bleeding takes precedence. Let Ava spend a couple extra days in jail. It's not like she's gonna stay there.
Again. Kristina is stable now. She was awake and talking before she passed out. Molly or Alexis could have asked her the question. I watch A LOT of TV. I can't tell you how many times I've seen cops get permission from the doctor to ask 1 or 2 questions. The doctor is usually present to monitor and ask the cop to leave if the patient becomes agitated. but again, those are weekly dramas vs a soap on 5 days a week. If this story made sense, was well-executed or at least was GOOD--I would say less.
I get that it's a soap and they need to stretch things but COME ON!!! Molly is the freaking ADA. I get comforting your sister after such a loss but Kristina is now stable. Cops would be chomping at the bit to talk to her just to ask that one basic question. Accident or on purpose? Get that answer. Let Kristina rest and then comeback and get her full statement in a couple of days.
She's fighting for her life and I think the doctors would likely say she's not up to being questioned.
The only silver lining for me thus far, is I really thought the pictures were going to be used to force Ava to choose: her freedom or custody battle? I also call BS on those pictures. At no time did Ava place her entire hand on Kristina's shoulder. That did NOT happen. Ava put her hand up and made contact with Kristina's shoulder because she was starting to walk past her. Ava was attempting to stop her from leaving after her threat. We all know the rest.
I never thought she'd have to choose but now that the meds story is about to be revealed...that plus her relationship with Jagger, good luck to her.
Like I've said before. This story had a manual to just tell itself. Kristina already hates Ava. Add grief to that and viola! Krissy lies and says she was pushed to send Ava to prison. Having Ava switch the item that caused Kristina to trip was stoopid. And who cares that Ava let John leave his luggage there? Both are single. If they are banging like bunnies--that's their prerogative.
Yeah, except she told him she's messing with someone's medication and he's using that information to sit back and wait for Sonny to do something crazy......neither kf them thinking about what could happen to Avery or someone else.
I loved seeing Morgan again. I've always found Bryan Craig attractive. But he was wrong. Sonny is to blame for a lot of the bad stuff that has happened to his family and friends due to his chosen mob lifestyle and affiliations. Justus (killed), Kristina (Alexis' sister killed), Lily & baby (killed), Michael (shot), Morgan (killed), and Krissy (nearly blown up), have all paid a price. And I know that Ava messed with Morgan's meds--but Olivia Jerome was in the mob and tried to kill Julian. So poor Avery is stuck with Ava for a mother? Take a look in the mirror Phony Soprano.
Ava isn't a good mother. Just ask Kiki....oh wait. Both parents are criminals and murderers. And both have been in the mob. She also doesn't seem too worried about Avery the last month as she sits back and waits for Sonny to melt down.
Ava has been a good mother to Avery. How many times has Sonny cut Michael off? I've lost count. Ava and Sonny compare/contrast--she is the better parent. Sonny says he's doing this for Avery but he's not. Sonny is doing this because he's pissed off at Ava. Barring her access from her daughter will hurt Avery. The child he claims to love. She's old enough to ask her for her mother. Sonny and Carly compare/contrast--Carly is the better parent and you know how much I hate Carly. Ava killed an innocent woman. I bet you know one can give us a count on how many people Sonny has killed or ordered killed. If I rob one bank. I am a thief. If my brother robs 50 banks. He's a thief. But if we are both caught and go before the same judge--who's going to get the book thrown at them as the WORSE criminal? That's how I view Ava vs Sonny as parents. Ava's not a career criminal. Sonny is. That is not my opinion. That is a fact. And agree or not we saw a change in Ava. She grew. She turned her life around. She stopped doing bad things. Hitting Nikolas doesn't count because her intent was not to kill him but to stop him as he had just informed her that he was about to spirit her child away.

As for Sonny getting out of the mob. I don't think that will ever happen. If he did, he would have to leave Port Charles. He knows too much. The other members of the 5 families would try to take him out. some of this was stated before. Isn't that part of the reason Jason and Carly were going to marry? It was for protection and to run Sonny's territory. At the first meeting after Sonny's "death" Ms. Wu said that Carly needed to die because she knew too much. Not long after that, Carly waltzed her behind in there and claimed that Sonny confided everything in her and that she was now running his empire.
Meh, it's a soap opera. They can easily bend the rules there. Ava was in the mob for years and was part of a mob family most of her life and she got out. Jason is currently walking around and nobody is threatening him because he knows too much....at least regarding the 5 families. This show is selective with what they let go based on plot points. If they wanted Sonny out of the mob, they can easily do it. But it won't happen.
But Jason is just an enforcer. He was not the HEAD of one of the Five Families as Sonny is.
