to hold on for Lucky and Ric but unless you are a Carly/Jason/Sonny fan there is very little here. They will always receive slanted writing that props them at and anyone who isn't related to them will be sacrificed at their altars. It's a shame that we such a talented cast and diverse characters--these writers have chosen to cater to these characters and actors who have a modicum or in some instances, a surplus of talent and a a bigger range--are relegated to wallpaper.
We can agree to disagree on talent etc... But I can't disagree even as a Sonny fan for 30yrs that the writing for those three is pretty insane. But you paint yourself in a corner when you have criminals as your main characters and can't write the mob properly to begin with. For the record I love mob SL and that whole angle on this show. But atp they can't write it properly without them getting away with it all the time in convoluted ways. I've been saying for a while that I wish Sonny would retire from the mob and do something else, maybe involving his family. I wish they would take these three characters in different directions and have a more balanced show. But that will never happen.
Indeed 😉
And today's judge was awful. She actually took a moment to praise Diane. And sense when does a special prosecutor apologize and inform everyone that they are looking into an FBI agent's conduct? Carly wasn't falsely accused. She didn't spend months, weeks, or days in prison. She spent the night in jail😂 The evidence disappeared. Does dude even know what was on the recording?
Yeah I laughed out loud when he apologized. Lol! And as for him knowing what was on the recording, probably not. Carly was the one that essentially turned herself in and we are now the next day and the recording is missing. My guess is he was supposed to be briefed this morning on the audio before the hearing and it wasn't there.
But wouldn't he have wanted to listen to it prior to going before the judge? How the heck would he even know if the case was prosecutable? He could have passed on it if he didn't feel that the evidence was strong enough. Havin a clerk coming in at the 11th hour and say that they are screwed was the lamest route they could have gone. You know what would have been better? The U.S. Attorney was able to listen to it that morning but then when they went to play it in court--nothing but static.
Too late to edit my main post but Anna can just drop dead. She is complaining about John going off the rails, when her bitch ass just helped a criminal become a fugitive. 🙅🏽♂️😒
