yes, it was wrong for Cody to choose the money from the Ice Princess (which he didn't get). I can see why he once he didn't get the Ice Princess, he didn't feel he could go to Mac and say, "never mind."
However, as Cody became friends with Maxie and her kids, he couldn't come clean to Mac because HE WASN'T THERE! And I can see why Cody wouldn't feel comfortable telling Felicia and/or Maxie before he told Mac.
I agree Cody is right that he should leave it to Mac to decide if he wants a a relationship or not. Felicia and Maxie had the right to tell Mac how they felt about it -- but now that they have it is time for them to shut up about it and leave it to Mac to decide what he does or does not want to do.
