the conversation still could have been had sober, drunk, or tipsy. If the conversation went left. So be it, but at least it's better than blindsided him and clutching her pearls that he was pissed off about it.

Elizabeth isn't stupid or new to the medical field. She knew that conversation with Portia and Terry was coming as a result of what she shared. She could have relayed to him that she had shared it with Portia.
