Memorial...she encouraged him to go to a meeting the first time she found him drinking, she talked to him at the hospital while he apologized and claimed he wouldn't do it again...as mentioned, she offered to stay with him and he sent her away...then, wearing that black dress, caught him with Barb. At that point, she was done and told him it was over...which means she owed him nothing.
And Finn saying he supported her? The biggest thing I remember is him crashing through every boundary she set...calling her parents when she told him not to... showing up at Ferncliff after she repeatedly told him she needed space to heal on her own...he was more controlling than supportive
As far as the addicts in my family, I am compassionate and supportive when they are trying to stay straight, especially when they're struggling. But when they decide being high is the way to go, I refuse to put myself in their line of fire and I also will not stick around and watch them hurt themselves
