ABC advised you have 90 days to turn things around or you're out. What changes are you going to make?

Here are the stipulations:

1. You can only write out five characters.
2. You can bring back five characters, dead or alive.
3. You are not allowed to make any previous stories a dream.

4. Creativity and originality are musts.
5. We've increased your budget by $100,000.

The changes I would make...

Five characters I would write out: Cody, Drew, Spinelli, Diane, and John Cates.

Five characters I would bring back: AJ, Skye, Ric, Lucky, and Morgan.

Ava/Sonny: Sonny continues to spiral and his behavior becomes more and more erratic. Molly is worried about her uncle and so she makes an urgent call to her dad (Ric). Meanwhile, Ava explains to Sonny what she discovered about his meds and he accuses her of gaslighting him the same way she did to Morgan. Sonny becomes enraged and tries to strangle Ava. Ric arrives and stops Sonny from killing Ava, who calls the police and Sonny is arrested. Ric decides to defend his brother and instead of prison, works a deal where Sonny is sent to Shadybrooke for 6 months. Ava wins full custody of Avery.

Ric Lansing: Ric tries to reconnect with is daughter and things don't exactly go well for the absentee father. While dining at the MC, a woman approaches and Ric says: You're late, again. The woman replies: I know. But I'm worth it. Ric stands up and the woman is revealed to be Skye. Ric says, hello wife. She replies. Hello husband. They kiss! While back in PC Skye mixes it up with Tracy and the Qs. Once she sees the mess that is ELQ as a result of the infighting, Skye throws her hat in the ring to be the new CEO. Ned and Tracy vote no because they want Ned. Drew votes yes. Skye votes for herself and the deciding vote is cast by Michael who shocks everyone by voting for Skye and thus, she becomes the new CEO of ELQ.

Spencer/Trina/Gio: Trina and Gio hit it off and become a couple. Just in time for November sweeps, Spencer returns and turns Trina's world upside down. He explains that he's been in a coma all this time and he's back to claim the love of his life. Trina is torn because feelings have developed for Gio and thus, we get a Spencer/Trina/Gio triangle. Spencer has also decided that he is ready to take the helm as CEO of Cassadine Industries.

Spencer's Celebration: Everyone gathers at the MC to welcome Spencer home. Jack decides to strike back at his enemies once and for all and shoots of the party. As a result, Cody, Drew, Diane, Spinelli, and John Cates perish during the melee. Dante shoots Jack but before he dies, he gives Anna a key to a safe deposit box that contains evidence of Valentin's ties to Pikeman. The evidence contains an address for a house in California. Dante and Chase head to the house and discover a man in a huge chair. They draw their guns and order him to put his hands up and turn around. The man complies and turns around to reveal AJ Quartermaine! He's been the head of Pikeman this entire time. This was about money, power and revenge on Sonny. He learned that the feds were closing in on him so he erased any trace of his involvement so that Valentin takes the fall. AJ isn't arrested for that reason but heads back to PC and pays a visit to Sonny to gloat.

Lucky is in Canada on assignment and he's ambushed. Back up arrives and one of the detectives that saves Lucky is none other that Morgan Corinthos. He has no idea who he is because he has amnesia. Lucky recognizes him. Explains that they are cousins and convinces him to return to PC because his family believes he's dead. Carly, Michael, Joss and the rest of the family are floored and thrilled when they see Morgan alive. He doesn't remember them but sees all the family pictures at Carly's house and reluctantly tries to make it work. Lucky decides to leave until Aiden asks him to stay because he wants to know his father. Lucky agrees to stay. Lucky tries to get to know his son. They talk about hobbies, school and dating. Aiden reluctantly tells his father that he's dating someone and his name is Tobias. Lucky doesn't flinch. Instead he says, I hope I get to meet him soon. Aiden smiles with relief.

Nurse's Ball: Which reminds me. I guess we're not getting one this year? Unless it's coming later this month. Finn continues to drink and as a result, Portia suspends him. Violet also finds Finn passed out one morning. He's bleeding from the head and she calls Chase and Liz for help. Finn finally agrees that he needs help and checks into rehab. During the nurse's ball--Violet sings "Hold My Hand" by Lady Gaga and cries at the end. She said that performance was dedicated to her grandfather and her father. Clip of her performance goes viral. Days later, Violet is in the park with BLQ, who steps away to get them some ice cream and Violet starts to cry because she misses her father. Suddenly, there is a hand on her shoulder and a voice says: Don't cry honey bunny. Violet recognizes the voice and slowly turns around to see her mother! It's a mystery where she's been all this time. She just couldn't stay away any longer.

Laura/Cyrus/Lucky/Spencer: Laura and Cyrus bond as siblings. Lucky does not care for his uncle at all. Lucky does take a liking to Spencer and tells him that his mother would be proud of him. Spencer and Ace pick up where they left off and with Nikolas's blessing. Spencer decides to give Ace his true Cassadine name: Aleksander Dmitriy Nikolas Cassadine. Heather is released from prison and finds that Port Chuckleans are extremely cold and rude to her. Cyrus gets her a job with him at the restaurant.

Liz/Sam/Jason/Jake/Danny: The women tell Jason that unless he gets out of the business, he cannot be part of the boys' lives. Jason gets out of the business and launches a security company instead. There is a Lucky/Liz/Jason triangle.

Skye/Ned/Tracy: At Spencer's party, Tracy is shot and has lost a ton of blood. Tracy has AB positive blood which is rare. Tracy also needs a kidney as hers was heavily damaged. Ned and BLQ get tested but are not a match. The word goes out to get a many people as they can to denote to find a match. Skye and Tracy hate each other but she gets tested regardless and is a 100% match. Portia drops a bombshell by telling Skye/Tracy that they are an exact match because they are mother and daughter. Tracy new this all along which is why she hated Skye. Tracy became pregnant as a teenager when she slept with a married man. It was a scandal that Edward covered up. Alan claimed Skye as his own to protect Tracy's secret. Now these two women have to figure out how to cope with this revelation.

Morgan and Sasha start a hot romance.

That's it for now. The rest of the changes I'd make:

@The pace would be much faster.

@No story would lasts longer than 6 months before being wrapped up.

@Every story will have a climatic ending and payoff.

@The same characters will not "win" or receive the best slant constantly.

@The dialogue will be snappier.

@The yearly disaster story, involving majority of the cast, will be revived.

@The Quartermaines would be front and center again.

@The role of Monica would be recast.
