Liz certainly didn’t need rescuing, however since Jake was concerned, I’ll allow it for now. They have dismantled most of Liz’s friendships, so at least she had someone. Just friends and i honestly think that was more to do with Jason/Jake then any foreshadowing for Liz/Jason. Phew.
Nonetheless, their convo felt very old school so it was enjoyable from that perspective.
Finn throwing her breakdown over teen trauma in her face was very typical of the addicts she has tried to care for, jerks.
