Liz's history with Lucky is not Finn's problem. Liz being triggered because she was married to a drug addict--is not Finn's problem. How she came at him was not right and he had every right ask her to leave. All she had to do was offer up some compassion and tenderness vs "Here's what going to happen. I'm going to take Violet home with me and you need to go to a meeting." Um, how about no? That is a grown as man that you are not married to. You don't get to tell him how to live his life. He at least offered her a choice--which included staying. Unpopular opinion I'm sure but it's how I see it. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Her approach was all wrong.

Another day, another rewrite. Whereas the twist that Valentin was now running Pikeman and masterminded this plot to destroy Sonny thru his meds was awesome--this Ava being the person who filed the complaint against Alexis is not good. First of all. Why would Ava do that? Julian and Alexis had long since broken up. He had moved on with Oscar's mom. He was happy. Julian's death had nothing to do with Alexis so why would Ava have an axe to grind? Mind you, Alexis was guilty. She lied under oath. Here we go again with a guilty person mounting their high-horse to berate the person who turned them in. Didn't like it with the insider trading fiasco and don't like it now.

I mean damn. It almost feels like they are about to write Ava out. Is Maura's contract up or something? This is such a dumb twist.

Dex as a cop is an epic fail and Anna's advice was not good. Dex wondered if it would look bad to the other officers if he didn't press charges against Sonny. Well, duh! It will idiots. They will wonder even more about how serious Dex is when he won't press charges against a known mobster who beat him in front of witnesses. This concern about Kristina is ridiculous. If her OB hasn't labeled her pregnancy as high-rise, then this "let's not stress out the pregnant lady" is utter bull $hit. I get that it would be very hard for her to face her dad and testify, so you know a way around that? Do it in another room via live video or submit a signed affidavit. Kids who have witnessed a parent kill another parent testify in court. Kristina can too.

One thing the new head writers haven't improved upon is continuity. We didn't even get to see Chase give Tracy the news about Gregory.

Prediction time: They made a point of letting us know that Gio is 21. The actor actually turned 19 yesterday. I think we might be headed for Gio/Trina and just as they are in a good place--Spencer will return.
