up my opinion on her rationale. And I don't think that Laura would react any differently if she came across a homeless guy who was beaten to a bloody pulp by someone she considered a friend. Cyrus' previous crimes aside and even if he is faking turning over a new leaf--Sonny beat him nearly to death in a church. You're okay with that. Cool.
Laura is and always has been an extremely compassionate person. Her stance right now with Sonny makes sense to me. She explained to him exactly why she arrived at this new mindset where he is concerned.
