I knew Valentin was involved with Pikeman, but I was shocked that he was the one who put out the hit on Sonny. I was also shocked that he managed to mess with Sonny's medication. They are turning Valentin back into a Cassadine bad guy, and not doing it in half measures.

So far I am liking the direction the show is going.
