Meds aside? I think Sonny’s meds are the entire point. Like maybe he would give Jason the benefit of the doubt if he was thinking clearly. Of course the things you listed happened. But all the things Carly listed happened too. Jason did protect Sonny and his family and take bullets for Sonny and save Sonny’s life too many times to count. Sonny is being manipulated by Val and now by Ava. I can’t just ignore that part.
I think it is a contributing factor but Jason's actions are his actions. Jason not fully explaining said actions are a huge part of why he is under suspicion by his "brother." Did he even defend himself? Nope. Why did he even go to Sonny’s if he wasnt going to bare his soul, set the record straight, or defend himself. Nope! Enter mouthpiece and bestie Carly. There is fighting for your friend and then there is ridiculous overkill. The Carly and Jason friendship as long and close as it always has been--is not realistic at all. What man or woman would put a best friend before their spouse or kids? That has always been the case for these two and it's nonsensical. I blame BOTH of them as Carly should try to comprehend boundaries and Jason looks like a huge weenie for allowing her to get away with it for all of these years. I still remember when he lived across the hall and he was with Sam, she would just walk into the PH or when she did knock it was "Hey. Where's Jason. I need him."
As for Ava manipulating him. She is based on what we saw in Friday's episode but I would bet anything it's not nefarious and I will take a break from GH if she is working with Valentin (which I highly doubt). The man tried to kill her. I think Ava's goal here is either to be with Sonny romantically or to get sole custody of Avery.
But yes, I am beyond thrilled that someone woke up and said, “Hey, why are we completely wasting JPS?” It’s good to have Valentin back in the thick of things.
It was quite the twist but I think Valentin's days are numbered because we saw how angry Sonny was after it was revealed that Ava messed with Morgan's meds. Imagine how livid he will be to learn that Valentin did the same thing to him. Unless he frames someone for it--I don't see how he doesn't pay with his life. And I would not be surprised if Anna is the one to bust or even kill Valentin by the time this comes to its dramatic conclusion.
