I didn't hate today. Fairly decent. It would have been nice if they made a bigger splash, but I will be patient. I don't think they can just flip a switch and have the characters or stories doing a 180 that would be rather jarring and disjointed. Subtle changes and shifts in the direction and tone are the sensible path they take here.

Hospital Happenings: Interesting that they are taking this approach with Heather. Alley just won an Emmy, so are they doing this to get her on the canvas full-time? Hmmm.

I FF the majority of Marshall/Curtis' scenes. I did watch the last one. I didn't see that coming. So the doctor was misdiagnosing Black men? I swear I did hear about something like this fairly recently on the news. Like within the last 3 years. I'll have to google that. I want to see where this is going.

Invader Insanity: They broke in to report on the judge's decision on Fanni Willis--so I missed whatever thing Nina did to insult Gregory. I will say that Patrick and Elizabeth had Nina amped today. Like how fast she was talking to Dex/Joss. I was like slow down. And interesting timing with Nina dropping this bombshell now about CyrusGate. This is what I mean about Joss being dim sometimes. Dex was the new Jason aka enforcer. You grew up in this world, why the hell is she clutching her pearls over Dex attempting to take a life? Hey Barbie, an enforcer's job entails beatings, kidnappings, torture, intimidation, and killing folks! I swear the dimmer switch on her brain kicks in sporadically. She's ridiculous.

Alexis. Alexis. Alexis. You have been working my nerves lately. Poor thing dislikes her new boss, job, and even the building. It's a shame she is trapped there. Oh if only someone would free her from the shackles. Oh wait, your employment there is VOLUNTARY. Why don't you just quit vs whining and being snide? It's a shame I have to point this out for two brilliant lawyers but it's only gossip if it's NOT true. Diane is a fiery redhead, who is in a romantic relationship with the D.A., and her #1 client is a MOB BOSS. All facts so by definition--not gossip.
