miss this opportunity to explore Jason/Carly. Will they work? Will they fail? That remains to be seen but I do get why they would want to at least explore it to get rid of the "what if" question. A friendship is a solid foundation for a relationship. I know some real life couples who started off that way. What will be interesting to see playout is Sonny's response if they get together. I know he moved on with Nina, but that doesn't mean it won't be hella awkward to have his best friend in a full-blown relationship with his ex-wife. But it's not like guy code exists in daytime television 🤣
Jason understands Carly but I want to see him dealing with her antics and insecurities. Is he just going to let her be or call her out on her ISH? Doubtful!
Some Sprina fans have been blowing the racism horn when it comes to Sprina for years. Some were up in arms because Joss was riding Dex like a pogo stick and Sprina hadn't had sex yet. Spencer knew she was a virgin. She wanted to make love with him twice and he politely turned her down because he wanted her first time to be special. The sexual dynamics and frequency for couples varies quite obviously. Trina has been featured in several front-burner stories, more so than veterans who have been on the show for decades. It's always been obvious to me that TPTB were invested in Sprina. They were always going to be endgame and I don't see them breaking up anytime soon.
