Maybe you would feel differently if she were afraid of him. A man raising a daughter shouldn't behave in such a way. It's not like Nina is actively threatening him and he NEEDS to do this to get her to back off. She read the lease and shady as it is what she's doing--she's within her right as co-owner of the hotel. I highly doubt that she caused a flood (maybe) but she is absolutely taken full advantage of said flood.
I felt this exact same way when Sonny was up in Ava's face and she was way more menacing than Nina has been with Drew. It's just not a good look for a man who isn't a villain to be towards a woman.
