Spencer isn't dead--hence the reason I am not a fan of funerals when the audience knows that the character is very much alive. It just takes away from it. But that's just me. I thought opening with the roses, and Alexis' voiceover was nicely done. It was so great to see Cameron. I only wish that he showed up with his new girlfriend (which Aiden/Liz said he had). I still think he was way too nice to Joss over how badly she hurt him and how he chose to cheat on him vs breaking up with him first.

Very strange for there to be actual graves when there are no bodies. But I watch enough ID channel where I have seen families of missing people who are declared dead without a body--have a grave/tombstone. It just feels so strange to me. I mean you go and visit, but their remains are not there. It's not their final resting place. So I was surprised they didn't go with his picture in a church and then head straight to the repast at Windemere.

I was surprised by noticeable missing folk:

Anna/Felicia/Robert/Tracy/Ned: Laura has been friends with these people for nearly 40 years and not one of them came?

Dex: Joss's boyfriend wasn't there? Spencer was one of her best friends. I'd think he would be there for support. Also his boss's nephew.

Molly & TJ: Spencer was family. WTH?!

Kinship that isn't ever acknowledged or even mentioned:

Ava is Sam's aunt. They rarely even share scenes.

Dante and Spencer are cousins. They have shared many scenes but it's never been mentioned. I did enjoy being a jerk to Dante recently, by throwing the fact that Sonny shot him as an example of complicated father/son relationships. The look on Dante's face was priceless.
