tell you about the overused, go to presumed dead trope. The writers go to that well way too often:

And now Spencer

And as far as the Jagger recast, it matters to me when they bring on someone who is a night/day difference of the previous character/actor who played him. I'm still shaking my head at the blonde, curly haired, surf's up dude they cast as Ethan.
