She has been a good mother to Ace, and it is clear that she loves him. She did listen to Laura's advice and turned herself into the police. She got a job working for Alexis. Now that Ace has been taken, I'm guessing she won't be torn anymore and will turn to her old ways. I was actually hoping she wouldn't head back into that direction, but maybe I've just watched too many Hallmark movies.
