The judge finally makes a ruling. There is insufficient evidence to convict Michael Cambias of rape, when all the prosecution has is Bianca's word. The judge does however rule that she can re-try the case when and if there is more conclusive evidence. Everybody is horrified. Not only has he been acquitted, but he's managed to obtain full partnership of Fusion, Enchantment and Chandler Enterprises.

Kendall is wrestling with whether to reach out to her mother and sister. She tells Aidan that she is ashamed, first of all, to be a product of a rape, secondly, for bringing into town, and having a relationship with the man who raped Bianca. Aidan encourages her to believe that Erica and Bianca love her and do not blame her for anything. But she's still afraid.

Suddenly, David Hayward obtains the results of the tests he runs on Bianca. She has already discovered that she's late for her period and goes to his house to discover that he's found out she's pregnant.
