All My Children Update for Wednesday, 6-Aug-2003

Erica falls asleep on her couch and has a dream that she is walking down the aisle on her wedding, viewing Jack. But as she gets closer, she notices that he's really Michael Cambias, who tells her he's had both of her daughers, who are standing along-side him. And now he will have her. When she awakens, screaming, Bianca is there, who's heard her nightmare.

Awoken, Erica realizes it's only a bad dream and remembers what David Hayward has told her has probably REALLY HAPPENED to Bianca (Bianca's been raped by Cambias). Erica attempts to find out from Bianca what has happened. But again, Bianca denies everything.

Jack returns to his home, where Reggie is listening to his Walkman and eating frozen pizza. Reggie assumes that Jack has been gone because he's been talking to Erica and the two of them have scheduled another wedding date. Jack says that's not what's happend. Reggie indicates that he's disappointed that Jack will not give Erica another chance, simply because Mary is a sleaze-ball. As soon as REggie hears Jack acknowledge that Greenlee is his daughter, he offers to move out and let Greenlee live in Jack's apartment in his place. But Jack assures Reggie that he will always be Jack's family no matter what Greenlee decides. He tells Reggie that there's room for Greenlee if she decides to live with him. But Reggie is not going anywhere. If they both choose to live in Jack's home, he'll just simply have to get a bigger house, and argue with Reggie as to what type of dog to get.

The FUSION girls have discovered that they are going into debt and that Greenlee has neglected to pay their bills. Meanwhile, Greenlee is off, in a major state of denial, with Juan Pablo. She eventually leaves and does not tell him why. Maybe she's ready to face reality.

While Jack and Reggie are in Jack's home, talking, Mary appears out of nowhere. Jack tells her he blames her if Greenlee never accepts him as her father. She tells him she understands. Jack tells Mary that even if he does develop a relationship with Greenlee, he will never care for Mary nor respect her. She has a problem with that. Jack tries to be polite, but eventually shows her to the door. It is there, when Erica appears.

While the FUSION girls are arguing about how to pay their bills, suddenly Michael Cambias appears. We also see that Michael's father, the president of Cambias international is in poor health, visited by some anonymous stranger. And we wonder why.
