All My Children Update for Tuesday, 5-Aug-2003

Jack is very disappointed at Erica for not telling him that Greenlee was his daughter. She protests by telling him she did not believe Mary Smythe when she first heard it. She was also afraid that she'd lose Jack. Jack tells her that he does not appreciate being lied to, and regardless of what a worthless human being Mary is, Erica should have been honest if she really loved him and cared for him. He leaves her to attempt to find Greenlee. She tells him they need to get married. But he has no reply as to whether that's going to happen or not.

Greenlee has started a fire, by attempting to burn many things that represent the lie that's been inflicted upon her throughout her life, by her mother, the man she always thought was her father, and the one who actually is. Tad Martin, Liza, Simone and Mia as well as Jack ane trying and failing to find her. They all somewhat blame Erica, but Kendall defends her mother to all of them.

Meanwhile, Greenlee is trying to seduce Juan Pablo. But, unknown to her, he can sense that she is only trying to hide something. At the end of her encounter, she tells him, somewhat indirectly what is upsetting her. And he promises to be there for her.

David and Anna have "intervened" in Bianca and Maggie's "altercation" with Michael Cambias. David is able to "piece together" what has probably happened to Bianca, although he has no direct proof. And he goes to inform Erica. She is devastated.
