All My Children Update for Wednesday, 8-Jan-2003

Edmund locks Maria in her room to keep her away from Aiden. (She probably could have knocked down the door the way it moved every time she banged on it!) He also thinks locking her up will make her remember him, but she tells him that "Maria" will NEVER come back.

Meanwhile, Aiden is hiding out in Hayley and Mateo's vacant condo and surprises Kendall, who's looking for a new place to live. A frightened Kendall informs him that Chris was asking questions about him, but Aiden vows that he didn't kill anyone. He hides when Isabella arrives to give Kendall a tour of the condo. Kendall loves the place and tells Isabella she wants to move in tonight!

J.R. tries to talk Lori into running away to Atlantic City, but she doesn't go for it and wants to know why J.R. is so upset. J.R. tells Lori about the fight he had with his father about his grades and his not wanting to go to Harvard. Surprisingly, Lori also tells him he's wasting his life and challenges him to bring his grades up.

Doug Lewis, Lori's father, barges in on Liza. Liza is charming and tries to calm his fears about his daughter. Adam comes in and they start arguing which child is corrupting the other. Liza cuts in before they come to blows. Then they get a call that J.R. and Lori were in a car accident and the three of them go to the hospital.

When Edmund won't let her out, Maria calls Aiden at the condo and is surprised when Isabella answers. Then Edmund cuts the phone line.
