All My Children Update for Friday, 20-Dec-2002

On Christmas Eve, J.R. and Jamie go to the boathouse to meet the girls. Jamie and Jonie talk while J.R. and Lori get close. J.R. gives Lori his class ring, which she puts on a chain around her neck. Meanwhile, Jonie tells Jamie that she doesn't agree with his homelife. Jamie tells her that he makes his own decisions. Jonie also claims that she makes her own decisions and she confides in him that church and prayer are very important parts of her life. Jamie says that he wants the same things out of life that she does, namely to find a special person. And there's a Christmas miracle - Jamie volunteers to go to church with her! (And it's not even a wedding or a funeral or anything!) Kendall then crashes the party looking for J.R. When he puts her off, she kisses him passionately to make Lori jealous. It works!

Mia meets Simone and asks her to reconsider breaking up with Frank, for William's sake. Mia guilt-trips Simone into talking to Frank. When Frank comes to meet Simone, she asks him if he's trying to find William because she broke up with him. He denies his search for his son has anything to do with her.

Anna asks David about the bullet hole in the wall. Their conversation is interrupted by morning sickness and then by Edmund. Anna asks Edmund if he knows where Aiden could be, and he tells her to go ask Maria. After he leaves, David finally comes clean about shooting at Aiden and fills her in about what a psycho her nephew is. Anna is suspicious that David "caused" Aiden's disappearance, until she gets a call telling her that Aiden has a warrent out for his arrest...for murder.

Aiden wakes up in the hayloft at Wildwind. Maria asks him about the shooting and why he's hiding. Then Edmund comes looking for Maria. She covers, telling him that she felt at home in the stables and goes back to the house with Edmund. Edmund thinks she's hiding something, and Maria says she hid his Christmas present in the hayloft. Then, an FBI agent shows up at Wildwind, wanting to talk to Edmund - alone. Maria goes back to the loft, where she meets up with her sister Julia!
