J.R. shows Kendall the MP3 player that he wanted to give Lori, asking if he was out of line with the gift. Acting more like a big sister (thankfully!), Kendall tells him to put some effort into winning Lori, instead of just buying her expensive presents.

The school janitor warns Lori that J.R. Chandler is not for her. When J.R. arrives to find them arguing, he gets protective of Lori. The janitor backs off and J.R. gives Lori a home-made cd instead of the MP3 player, but she doesn't accept that either and tries to break it off with him. When J.R. asks if she's having an affair with the janitor, Lori tells him (finally) that the janitor is her father.

Tad (wearing the ever-present black trench coat) finds Jake in the chapel and convinces him that every minute he has with Mia is precious. Jake then takes Liza's place at Mia's bedside. When she wakes up, he tells her that he wants to get married that very night! She thinks he's in a rush because she's dying, but Jake notices that her fever has broken.

Stuart tries to talk to Liza about Mia's fall, but Marian interrupts him. Marian then asks Stuart not to say anything to anyone about what she told him about Liza's part in Mia's fall.

Tad apologizes to Liza for Jamie's behavior at the ball. When Liza starts acting guilty, a suspicious Tad asks her what REALLY happened to Mia at the party.

Greenlee tells Trey she wants to buy a building where she can start her own business. Excited by the news, Trey embraces her. Greenlee freaks out and pushes him away, reminding him that he's NOT Leo. She forgives him quickly however, and sends him out to find out who owns the building she wants to buy. Then Greenlee calls her accountant, only to find she's not as rich as she thought she was. (All those trips to and from Paris probably didn't help.) Greenlee asks her mother for a loan, but "Mommy Dearest" isn't willing to invest in her own daughter's company!

Trey meets up with Kendall and tells her about Greenlee's plans to start her own company, if only he can find out who owns the building. (Anyone think of calling the real estate agent?) Petey Courtland overhears them and claims that he knows who owns the building. Kendall determines that Palmer must own it and agrees to help Trey by talking to Palmer for him.
