Today was pretty good. I enjoyed seeing David and Anna.After regaining consciousness, Mia has no idea that Liza purposely caused her fall. Liza is then overcome with guilt when a seriously injured Mia asks her to watch after William if she should happen to die. Adam worries about the consequences when Liza suggests that she was responsible for the fall Mia took.

At the hospital, Mia's heart stops and she is worked on by a concerned Frank and Jake. Meanwhile, at Wildwind, Maria gets a flashback of a loving, intimate moment years earlier between her and Edmund. David regrets everything Anna is sacrificing in the name of love for him when she hands in her official resignation as Pine Valley Chief of Police.

Trey says he thinks it would be in David's best interest to remarry Anna as soon as he can. David's reaction to the suggestion doesn't exactly send Anna off to the bridal shop, though. He eventually makes her see that he wants to marry her for completely unselfish reasons, quite contrary to what he would be doing if they remarried now.
